looking back on the summer, i have not really accomplished any of my goals other than 1. meeting with gordon to discuss incorporation and 2. working. hmmmm. i have one month left and my debts have only a wee dent in them, my apartment is still not painted, etc, etc, etc. time to reasses. i have one month left before school starts - but i have some good news! i registered for classes two days ago and i got all the ones i wanted :) three anthro which will be lots of fun (archaeology, cross-sultural gender, and fossil homonids) and the fourth one should be a cake-walk: intro to computers!!! hows that for the “easy a”.

August goals:

1. paint the apartment: this one is going to take a lot of initiative. i have been working over-time to try to get my debts to go away… so now i have got to buckle down, forget about a personal life, and just paint the stinkin thing.
2. pay off debts: in other words “forget about social life and STOP using the visa”.
3. start pre-reading for school: my fall semester will be pretty heavy-duty so i want to go to the book store soon and get all my books. at least pre-reading the intros and conclusions should get me a leg up…
4. rest. yeah right.

so there it is. my goals for this month. it shouldn’t be too hard, it will just take a lot of self-discipline.
