i’ll see london, i’ll see france… i’ll even see dublin & jen (crap, that doesn’t rhyme).

what a difference a few hours can make. its very interesting to me how last year i felt so strongly that this year would be great. i remember thinking “bring on 2007″ so much in 2006. i guess i really felt that anything would be better than 2006 (or 2002, 2003, 2004, or 2005, for that matter). well, 2007 started out in extreme pain. i was almost disappointed, but i kept thinking that great joy could only manifest through such pain.

enter this week.

not only am i getting an opportunity of a lifetime to go to france, my family is moving back to the vancouver area and i was also accepted into UBC. i can’t help but search for a greater meaning or lesson in all of this; there are many.

for now, i am going to enjoy this feeling. revel in every moment. take photos. give hugs. drink cafe au lait et vins rouges. etcetera…
