goodbye, DhRp-52.

today the powers that be decided that we were most likely not going to find any pre-historic (that means pre-contact, before the written record) artifacts in our evaluative units at DhRp-52. we finished off our levels this afternoon and will go back on site tomorrow for cleanup and profiling.

goodbye hardhat, goodbye visi-vest, goodbye heavy machinery, goodbye absolute lack of shelter from the elements, and goodbye bureaucratic……. stuff.

but DhRp-52 will always hold a place (albeit a cold, dark corner) in my heart.
