Feminists Deliver is a grassroots collaboration of BC-based Two-Spirit people, non-binary folks, Indigiqueer, trans women, lesbian women, and cis women and girls, and the organizations that support them that have came together, on account of the 2019 Women Deliver Conference in Vancouver.

This working group is comprised of over 30 non-profit organizations who organized, quickly, a live 4-day conference and tradeshow alongside the larger Women Deliver conference.

Each day of the conference focused on a different theme and included keynote speakers, panels, breakout sessions and performances. Additionally, the trade show and artisan market featured grassroots organizations and local women-identifying artisans.

Because of the rapid nature of the project, I worked quickly and closely with co-director, Angela Marie MacDougall, to get this website and it’s important information online. We worked in stages: landing page with an opt-in form at stage one. Next, we added navigation and pages with information about members of the working group and conference logistical information. Next, we added a blog where members could create time-sensitive posts to update folks about each member organization and special event details. Finally, I added the live streams of each day of the conference so that folks who were unable to attend in person could join in online.

I’m so happy with the result; a gorgeous, user-friendly, website that was a valuable asset during the conference and continues to be a hub of information for all the events that Feminists Delivers hosts in the future.
