As promised, this post will walk you through, step-by-step, installing a plugin via your WordPress dashboard. This week I thought I would show you how to accomplish this instead of tell you. Sound like fun? Let’s get started!!
How to install a plugin
Pretty simple, eh?
Just remember, from your Dashboard, click (Plugins -> Add New). Type the name of the plugin in the search field and click “Search Plugins”.
Next, read all about that plugin! What are the reviews? How many stars does it have? It’s also a good idea to Google that plugin and find out what other folks have to say about it!! Are there any known incompatibilities?
If you still feel all warm and fuzzy after researching your plugin, click “Install Now” – WordPress will automatically unpack and install that plugin for you, all you need to do is activate and customize it!
