A collaborative brand and website that increases mental wellness supports.

Mind Ally is a mental illness, addictions, and suicide prevention services non-profit founded on peer support and lived experience.

As the organization’s vision evolved, their existing brand identity and website fell out of step with their strategic direction. The design, content, and user experience no longer reflected the full capacity of the organization or supported its goal of connecting people to a wide hub of mental wellness healing modalities, practitioners, strategies, and resources.

Mind Ally came to me for a complete brand strategy, identity, and website redesign: a fresh brand presence that would establish credibility, expand their reach, and position them as a leader and connector in the mental wellness space.

I started with collaborative brand distillation and research workshops that accelerated the identity design process and gave us a shared foundation to build from.

With brand strategy in place, I designed a website that emphasizes the optimism, vitality, dignity, and care at the core of Mind Ally’s identity.  I combined bright, contrasting colours from their design system with authentic portraits that offer hopeful representations of life at every age and dismantle harmful stereotypes of mental illness.

The resulting website creates an accessible, connected experience that makes it easy for Mind Ally’s key stakeholders to learn about the organization’s mission, programs, strategic partners, and impact.
